NO, I AM NOT, AND HAVE NOT BEEN, IN AFGHANISTAN. THIS PHOTO WAS NOT TAKEN BY ME, BUT WAS IN FACT TAKEN BY MY BROTHER-IN-LAW WHO IS CURRENTLY SERVING OUT THERE NOW AS A SHARPSHOOTER. I JUST WANTED TO SHARE HIS PHOTOS HERE.
My sister bought him a digital camera and he's made good use out of it!
you know my family have been tracing the family tree recently, i haven't looked at or had the chance to partake in it as my aunty is a controling person and all but yeah alot of the history was lost as i have heard and made it hard all i know is my grand-farther was one hell of a rifleman, and served in forty second gunner regiment in ww2 i think, then went on to being a royal guard where both Grandfarther Webb and grandfarther Coull both served and pulled the kings coffin when he passed together, not knowing that years later would both be the grandfarther of the same child lol but yeah i wish him the best out there it isnt easy so i salute him
Haha, sweet! I've always wanted to trace my family tree back but never had the chance. I know my great-grandad lived in Canada during the 20s and was a bootlegger, which is pretty cool .
haha sweet.. all i know is that my family (dads side) originated in scotland but we also had american family i think its my great grandfarther whos american but other than that were really stuck to the uk, a few family lines here and there but nothing big and searching the family tree is a nightmare, trust me its like digging for gold if your family is as secritive as mine
Unfortunately, it is still very much in the minds of the British public. We have lost over 400 soldiers now, and that figure is far too much. 7 of those 400 I knew.
wish him all the best out there
He's come back now, safe and well!
